With deep sorrow I learnt the news of the passing away of Sister Sajida. Innaa lillahi wa’innaa ilaihi raaji’oon.

A’lamallahu ajrakum wa’ahsana azaa’akum waghafara limayyitikum!

May Allah Ta’ala accept the good deeds of this sister, forgive her sins and grant her the highest place in Jannat Al-Firdaws!

Death is a blessing for mu’min. He departs from this world to be engulfed by rahmat of Allah, the All-Merciful. Demise gives mu’min comfort and relieves him of the tiredness, hardship and suffering of this world.

Sister Sajida has left us after an illness. This too was a blessing for her. A hardship that afflicts a mu’min leaves him blessed by rahmat of Allah, the Most High. It is indeed a means to forgive him and elevate him.

Only Allah, the Exalted knows exactly what is best for every human being. Allah Ta’ala has decided a lifetime for everyone of us. The predestined lifetime is the best. So if a person known or unknown and relative or non-relative dies, we must accept the will of the Almighty as the best choice for the departed person.

After the end of a person, we can do duas and good deeds for his benefit. So let us be engaged in duas and sending good deeds for the deceased sister!

We pray to Allah Ta’ala for His rahmat, maghfirat and blessing for Sister Sajida.
