ACJU Mourns for Late King Fahd Ibnu Abdil Azees
- General Secretary Ash-Shaikh H. Abdul Nazar
The unexpected news that the Angel of Death has called
on the Custodian of Two Holy Masjids King Fahd Ibnu Abdil Azees, sends shock
waves across the Muslim world as well as other countries.
The General Secretary of All Ceylon Jamiyyathul Ulama Ash-Shaikh H.Abdul
Nazar, in his condolence message, further says:
Undoubtedly King Fahd Ibnu Abdil Azees was an incomparable contemporary
Arab ruler who fought down against illiteracy in the recent history of Saudi
Arabia. Shouldering the heavy responsibility of the education portfolio,
he rendered immense services for the development of education, especially
for the literacy enhancement of elders which brought a fruitful result to
his country.
Expanding of the two Holy Masjids, establishing an institution to translate
and publish the Holy Qur’an on a mass scale in order to donate them to the
countries where Muslims are a minority and gigantic infrastructure development
in Saudi Arabia are the touchstone for the late king’s great services during
his 24 year long rule. Constant financial and other forms of assistance
he provided to many world countries, specially to promote Islam in the non-Muslim
predominant countries are some more of his achievements that are praiseworthy.
The All Ceylon Jamiyyathul Ulama joins hands with all who raise their hands
to pray for the late King Fahd Ibnu Abdil Azees. May Almighty Allah accept
him into the Jannat.
