With unalloyed pleasure I wish
to extend my heartiest Eid Al-Fitr wishes to all
Muslims celebrating Eidul Fitr today completing
one month workshop during Ramadhan that recurs every
year in order to purify the Muslim in all aspects
and mould him as a fabulous man with piety, refined
manners and decorous behaviour.
Yesterday every Muslim bade farewell
to the holy month of Ramadhan with earnest hope
and great prayer to be blessed to reach again that
invaluable month which really trained him to control
his senses along with first-rate attributes such
as patience, tolerance and charity, inculcated him
with mercy, love, etc. and helped reconcile the
hearts that were poles apart. This holy month, of
course, trained each and every Muslim to prove his
slavery in full to Almighty Allah by having engaged
himself in worship in states of standing, bowing
and prostrating day and night exercising hunger,
thirst and wakefulness and leaving aside his likes
and dislikes.
The Muslim who endeavoured to
get closer to his Creator by purifying his body,
soul and wealth in spite of thousands of problems,
difficulties and worries, is indeed fortunate.
Let us continue the practices
gained in the course of Ramadhan! Let us talk with
open-mindedness! Let us respect feelings, rights,
lives and properties! Let us hold hands in unity!
Let us pray for peace and prosperity to bloom again!
Eid Mubaarak!
